A MESSAGE FROM BEACH CAMS MAN
Welcome to Coast Cams TV!
I’m really excited to introduce Coast Cams TV — the new home for your VIP videos, bringing together coastal adventures, railway specials, behind-the-scenes moments and favourite memories from over the years.
You can now browse by category, series and location, making it easier to find something you’ll enjoy. You can also leave a comment underneath every video — I’d love to hear what you think, your memories and what you’d like to see next.
I’m gradually uploading our archive, stretching all the way back to 2014, alongside brand-new content. There’s plenty to bring across, so please bear with me! There’ll be something new to watch every week, whether it’s a freshly filmed adventure or a rediscovered favourite.
Coast Cams TV will replace the old VIP video section as part of your existing VIP membership. In the meantime, the original library will stay available until the archive has been moved across, so you can keep enjoying your favourites.
Thanks for being part of Coast Cams and helping make all of this possible.

Behind the Scenes with Steam
🚂🎥 Come behind the scenes with me as I head out to capture the Mayflower making its way along the South Devon coast, followed shortly afterwards by the DMU. In this video, you’ll see much more than just the finished drone footage. I take you through how I plan the shots, choose where to position the drone, work out the angles I want and prepare for those few seconds when everything has to come together. You’ll follow me around the coast as I get into position for both trains and see what goes into creating the railway footage you normally see on Coast Cams. There’s always a lot more planning behind a drone shot than the final few seconds suggest, especially when you only get one opportunity to capture the train exactly where you want it. If you enjoy railway photography, drone filming and seeing how Coast Cams videos are made, I hope you enjoy this behind-the-scenes look at the day.
